Q Are questionnaires completed online or on paper?

A The choice is yours. We can arrange your surveys to be taken online or via paper.

Q How long before I receive the questionnaires?

A We can arrange next day delivery of your surveys or you can commence an online survey the same day.

Q How long before I receive the results?

A Once we have collected your paper surveys or close an online survey, it normally takes about a week to process your results. Please ask us if you need your results more quickly.

Q Can I change the questions?

A Yes, all surveys can be bespoked, please ask us for details.

Q Do you have national results I can compare my school to?

A We don't offer benchmarking for two reasons:

Firstly it's almost impossible to compare like with like and a national average is practically meaningless. Secondly, we think it's misleading. For example, if 5% of pupils don't feel safe in school, but the "average" is 10%, does this mean the school is above average and no action is required? Essentially, we believe averages can make individual voices harder to hear.

However, if a group of local schools with a similar catchment area take the surveys, you can gain very powerful insights. We can prepare a special statistical report at no extra cost comparing the results school by school. This then allows schools to discuss together what each school is doing differently which may impact on their perceived strengths and weaknesses.

Q Can I compare results over time?

A Yes, If you wish to survey every term, for example, we can prepare a special statistical report to trend your results over time.

Q Can I see samples?

A Yes, we will happily email you pdf samples of actual questionnaires and reports. Please contact us.

Q Is our data confidential?

A Absolutely. We are registered with the Information Commission under the Data Protection Act and fully comply with Market Research Society guidelines.

Q You won't share our data with anyone?

A Definitely not. Unlike some survey providers, we will not sell your data to the government or any third parties.
